Weight Loss – Losing Weight Quickly With Exercise

Many of us are really keen to lose weight quickly, but simply don’t have any clear idea of how to go about it. If you sincerely want to get rid of your extra kilos, you must be prepared to do exercise on a regular basis even if you live a hectic life. You can get dramatic results if you spend only a small part of your day doing the exercises mentioned below. There is, however, an important pre-condition before you begin your exercise program. You must consult your personal physician to ascertain if your body is fit enough to handle a tough exercise schedule.

Such exercises can be classified into two categories: aerobic exercise and resistance training (dealing with weights). Although they work differently, both are vital. The objective of aerobic exercise is to raise your heart rate and boost your stamina. Four familiar forms of aerobic exercise are: running, brisk walking, cycling and skipping.

You can do them either outdoors or using gym equipment such as treadmills and exercise bikes.

Weight training attempts to build lean muscle which can burn fat quickly. The speed at which you can burn fat and the additional calories will increase if you have more lean muscle on your body.

If you want to lose weight quickly by doing exercise at your home, there are a few good options. Walking has long been known to cause loss of weight. The more you walk the more weight you lose. Set aside at least 30 minutes of dedicated walking every day. If you do it twice a day and that too at a faster pace, you will get quick results.

Skipping is also an excellent aerobic exercise, and only 50 skips on a daily basis will help you to burn your extra calories. For even better results, try to add an additional 10 skips daily. You can do step-ups using the steps of your backyard. The process of stepping up and down will raise your heart rate elevated and burn your extra calories. It is good if you complete 3 sets of 20 steps daily, but try to increase the number of steps in a gradual manner. You can also purchase special step up mats from the market for the purpose.

Squats will help in building your leg muscles. As squats are not at all easy to perform, there is nothing to be ashamed of if you cannot do more than one or two. Squats building and strengthen your muscles which in turn burns fat faster.

Swimming and participating in other sports can also help you in your weight loss mission. If you sincerely follow the above exercise programs, there is no reason why you won’t lose your extra kilos in quick time.
